Their one-size-fits-all approach-if you have the ball, the opposition, whomever it is, can’t score-is theoretically correct, but it requires the personnel, including a clinical finisher to make the most of those few chances and a world-class number 10 through which to funnel the ball. Then as the years went on, you saw it fall apart in a decade long slow-motion car crash, where they tried to walk the ball into the net with fewer and fewer resources and teams that had long worked out how to stop them. If you watched the Arsenal of the noughties you’ve seen this philosophy and formation executed to perfection. Train for creativity, decision making, and, obviously, passing, even if you’re swimming in riches. But are you up to it? For it to work you need stamina, teamwork, passing, vision, decisions, work rate, first touch, and technique throughout the squad, as well as attacking flair and a colossus of a defensive midfielder. It’s essentially a high press followed by high-tempo short passes to cut through defences into space, with the freedom to experiment upfront. So attractive, so chairman-pleasing and so often leading to you getting walloped if you get it wrong. Think Pep’s Barca and Spain’s all-conquering Euro/World/Euro Champions. RDF’s replication of Klopp’s title-winning strategy, practically a 4-3-3 formation, remains sound… but have you the players for it? Tiki Taka: 4-3-3 Don't be surprised if your Forest Green are struggling with Bielsa Burnout with this Football Manager 2022 tactic. Sticking with a 5-2-1-2 works well but, again, this is a super-high-intensity tactic. The 4-2-3-1 pressing formation is exhausting, with consequences for the later stages of the game and the end of the season. Your injuries will mount and your players will become fatigued. It also requires in-game adaptation don’t expect it to be a cure-all.

919/695Mbps this test (screenshot provided from the router GUI) is the speed from your router to your ISP gateway = clean and single hopped transmission. it’s better than really small sized random file. There is also option to use one of your exchanged large files. you have to use (F) file parameter also. you have to set block / packets (k) parameter It’s same as measure your internet speed by Ookla (or similar tests) to different ISP gateways = you will get a measurement, but out of reality. never use free servers as iperf target. There is only one way how to check the real WAN speed between computers and your NAS = you have to run iPerf container, as was recommended this router can’t support two line bonding for VDSL, then must be really weak in packet operation.ģ. If all fails, and if this is important for your operation, I’d ditch it and look for a more solid alternative (some I’ve mentioned earlier). Increase the number of files and see what happens when everything is synced and you edit a single file, is it going to sync faster. Not sure if this happens initially until everything is synced and it takes off later or is it going to be like this. I keep reading that Drive becomes very slow when there are a lot of files to sync (especially small files). However, I’d go back and say, try a single big file in the synced folders. I just use it daily to edit my files (spreadsheets and documents). Unfortunately, I’m not using it to sync such amounts. Now we know that you’ll need to focus on Drive, since we’ve proved that the links are doing what they’re supposed to do (transport at the advertised speed). Job titles are important because they tell you what the main responsibilities of a job will be. Related: What Does Job Function Mean? (With Helpful Examples) Why is a job title important? For instance, you may have worked as an intern copywriter, entry-level sales assistant, senior business manager or head of marketing. Some job titles also show the seniority of a person's job. For example, common job titles include cook, farmer, lawyer, managing director, retail assistant and technician. What is a job title?Ī job title is a single word or short phrase that describes a person's role at work. In this article, we explain how to write a job title in your resume and provide you with lists of typical job titles in various industries. It can include your level of seniority or area of specialization and communicate your skills and qualifications to other professionals. A job title tells you what a role involves and lets others know what you do. Therefore, carefully consider your goals according to the nature of your field, and choose your words wisely.Īt SC&C we offer Career Analysis to help senior decision-makers from all walks of life identify strategies and tactics to increase their value-add employment potential.Knowing the most common job titles in your field can make your career search a lot easier. When drafting your résumé, remember that the correct representation of your prior job titles will offer prospective employers an all-inclusive view of your work history, as well a promising perspective of your value as an employee. Résumés where work experience is organized according to job title:Įxecutive Director, XYZ Company, Inc. Responsibilities, tasks, accomplishments.Résumés where work history is organized according to company name: We suggest two basic options, depending on the layout of your résumé. Perhaps you were promoted once, or even several times, by the same employer and you’re unsure of how to clearly depict your shifting job titles. However, if you wish to keep your résumé’s objective line, consider listing a description of the job you are seeking, rather than one specific title.Īnother quandary job hunters sometimes encounter is how to list multiple job titles under the same company. Thus, hiring managers have the to opportunity to gain a more comprehensive perspective of your potential value to their organization, which could potentially lead to even more employment opportunities in the long run. Given the wide range of intricate job titles that seem to fall under a surprisingly fewer number of actual roles available within a given industry, it may be a better idea to omit the objective line altogether, allowing prospective employers to skip right to your skill set and work history. In some cases, a clear objective that directly indicates your goals can work to your advantage with hiring managers, but this is only if your proposed job title is an exact match for the open position. Often, just below the contact information, applicants will include an objective line which often describes the exact job they are looking for. The next question is whether or not to list your intended job title in the beginning of your résumé. The goal is to assure that your résumé is viewed by as many eyes as possible, and listing your job titles according to the industry-standard is one way to achieve this. The essence of the job is unchanged, but with a standard title, your résumé has a greater chance of ending up in the right hands. In an example provided by the article, “ Don’t Get Creative With Job Titles in Your Résumé”, it is suggested that if your last employer gave you an innovative-sounding role, such as “Data Janitor II”, for instance, you will want to list your job title as the more typical “Database Analyst” when drafting your résumé. Yet, this title may not always coincide with the industry standard. The fact is that a company will often assign their own (sometimes “extravagant”) title to a specific role within the organization. However, this is not to be confused with changing the characteristics of the job itself, or what its title represents. While there is certainly no excuse for failing to adequately convey the details of your expertise, remember that your job titles are equally essential, and likewise, as noticeable as the aspects that follow.įirst, job seekers must take into account that the job title assigned to them by their employer may not necessarily coincide with what should be listed on their résumé. When it comes to composing a résumé, we expend a great deal of time and effort carefully wording and arranging our specific employment skills possibly even more energy than we do on our actual job titles. Today, though, controlled reentry is standard practice. In 1979, NASA's Skylab space station rapidly descended, scattering debris over Australia. the satellite caused the crash - why did Hughes and Loral engage at all with China If their job was to keep hands off the rocket section, the rocket. The Long March 5B boosters are among the largest objects to fall back to Earth, but uncontrolled reentry isn't unique to China. Ted Muelhaupt, a consultant who works on the Aerospace Corporation's reentry database, previously told Insider that an object weighting at least 1 ton falls from orbit and reenters the atmosphere on a weekly basis. "If you roll the dice too many times, someone will get lucky," Jonathan McDowell, a Harvard astronomer who meticulously tracks objects in Earth's orbit, previously told Insider. Satellites and chunks of unknown debris fall out of orbit regularly. In a study published in the journal Nature in July, researchers calculated a roughly 10% chance that debris will strike one or more people within a 10-year period. Most of the area where debris could rain down is open ocean or uninhabited land.Ī Long March 5B Y2 rocket carrying the core module of China's space station, Tianhe, stands at the launching area of the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site, on April 23, 2021. But that population is heavily condensed in a few places. The area where debris could fall covers about 88% of the human population, according to those analysts' calculations. But the Aerospace Corporation is tracking the rocket stage and predicting the possible paths it might take back to Earth. It's still too early to tell exactly where the core stage might fall - most likely in pieces. Some of it will likely burn up as it plows through the atmosphere, but the rocket body is too large to completely disintegrate.Ī rule of thumb is that 20% to 40% of a large object's mass will survive its fall through the atmosphere, experts at the Aerospace Corporation previously told Insider. The yellow icon marks the rocket body's location in the middle of the predicted window for reentry.Įxperts can only estimate how much of the Long March rocket body, which is roughly the size of a 10-story building, will slam into the Earth. The Long March 5B rocket body's projected path around Earth, represented by yellow and blue lines, during the time when it could fall, as of November 2, 2022. “Those national governments whose populations are being put at risk should demand that major spacefaring states act, together, to mandate controlled rocket reentries, create meaningful consequences for non-compliance and thus eliminate the risks for everyone” the researchers said in their study.Account icon An icon in the shape of a person's head and shoulders. While it is very unlikely that this individual rocket harmed anyone, a team of scientists have also warned that there is a 10 percent chance that someone will be killed by falling space debris sometime this decade. Doing so is critical to the responsible use of space and to ensure the safety of people here on Earth.” “All spacefaring nations should follow established best practices, and do their part to share this type of information in advance to allow reliable predictions of potential debris impact risk, especially for heavy-lift vehicles, like the Long March 5B, which carry a significant risk of loss of life and property. “The People’s Republic of China (PRC) did not share specific trajectory information as their Long March 5B rocket fell back to Earth,” Nelson said in July. NASA administrator Bill Nelson recently expressed frustration with the rocket’s string of uncontrolled reentries, which are the biggest pieces of spacecraft debris that have fallen on Earth in several decades. The next two stages fell into the Indian Ocean, in April 2021, and into the Pacific Ocean, in July of this year. Debris fell on villages in the Côte d’Ivoire after its first flight in May 2020, causing property damage. The rocket has flown four times, including its most recent launch on Halloween. For whatever reason, the main stage of Long March 5B is apparently not designed to conduct these controlled reentries, leading to uncertainty over its time and place of impact. During the 1930s, most of the amusement park facilities were closed down and its attractions sold off. The Pleasure Pier thrived during the 1920s but faded during the Great Depression. The La Monica Ballroom was demolished in 1963. From 1958 until 1962, the ballroom served as a roller skating rink first as Skater's Ballroom, and later as the Santa Monica Roller Rink, where the speed skating club won many state and regional championships. In the summer of 1955, the Hollywood Autocade opened at the La Monica with one-hundred famous and unusual cars, including Jack Benny's Maxwell and a Rumpler Drop Car. Country music star Spade Cooley began broadcasting his weekly television show from the ballroom in 1948, where the program remained until 1954. The Philadelphia Toboggan Company built the Carousel, PTC #62, in 1922. Attractions on the Pleasure Pier eventually included the Santa Monica Looff Hippodrome building (which now houses the current carousel and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places), the Blue Streak Racer wooden roller coaster (which was purchased from the defunct Wonderland amusement park in San Diego), the Whip, merry-go-rounds, Wurlitzer organs, and a funhouse. Additionally, I missed a doctors telehealth appointment this morning because of this app, which is why I’m here looking to download replacements. And sometimes the alarm goes off but it’s not a very low rate and we don’t know why. I don’t know what happened to this app in the last few years, but lately in just the last two weeks alone, I have “lost“ several alarms it disappeared mysteriously. Read the other reviews as of lately, they are right. Hope to see some updates soon, otherwise, everything else works pretty good. If I’m mowing the lawn or feeding the animals I’ll probably miss it because it will make a small noise and then just stay on my phone, but if I don’t look at it till I come back in the house to wash my hands, then I’ve missed it. Reminders and calendar events don’t always work because they don’t make enough noise. Yours on the other hand, works no matter what. And if my alarm is to remind me of something during the day, unless I keep the other app open all day, it won’t work. Yours works even if my phone is silent and I forgot to set, but it has to be for every Thursday, when the alarm I might need is for a meeting or a flight that is 3 weeks or a month away. My other alarm does that, but I have to remember to open it before I go to sleep. Some simple suggestions would be to add options to the alarm like to set it for every other Thursday, or for a specific date. I had to download a separate app for that, and I wish I didn’t have to do that. what I don’t use if for is an alarm because there are not enough features. I use this app for many things, timers, stopwatch etc. I think this app has just been neglected or de-prioritized and is in need of a little TLC by developers or more people are going to stop using it. Either way, after being a lifelong apple clock app user, I am considering deleting it and finding another one. I can’t remember when exactly I started noticing this but I think it may have been after an update. I now have to use multiple alarms, as I can never trust the snooze is going to work. I know lots of people use calendar reminders for this reason, but why not build in a calendar to make the alarm app more functional?Īnother issue I’ve noticed more recently is, the swipe to snooze is so touchy that more times than not the alarm doesn’t swipe down properly and turns off rather than showing the option to snooze or turn off. For example, when I find out I need to wake up early for a flight 3 Fridays from now, why don’t I have the option to set the alarm for the day I need it to go off? The current option forces you to set it for every Friday. It would also be nice to be able to set an alarm for a particular date rather than just the standard day of the week. It would be cool if there was a way to group alarms for various tasks/activities into folders. I’ve used this app for as long as I can remember and the long list of alarms I set for various reasons gets to be confusing. In that period, an estimated 3,300 jobs should open up.
